Balloon flight in Cappadocia

In Cappadocia we took a flight with Sultan Balloons. I think that every experience is different so this is how mine was.

Everything starts at 4 in the morning when a driver picks you up from the hotel and you are transported to the take off site.

The transport from the hotel to the take off site is included in price. Do not worry about it!

Fun fact: the take off place is almost never established long before. All is settled in the evening for the next day, depending on the weather. Every detail is very important: how the wind blows, if there are clouds, etc.

Now. After we got up into the balloon we received some informations about special situations and landings. Calos, our pilot was very cute and cheerd us up with some jokes!

We took off from the grownd. I could have missed that moment – that slow and gentle all was :). And then, a magnificent sunrise came! A lot of pictures, a lot of emotions, a wonderful feeling of serenity! I just flew and it was like never before!

Also, a really nice thing for me was the fact that at the take off place there was coffee and tea and some cookies. I do not really care about the cookies and the tea but for sure I NEED my coffee in the morning!

The landing was as smooth as the take off. The trailer was expeting us, the balloon was taken as close as it could get to it. Nice and clean!  

Aaaan another thing to remember: in winter time the view is even more interesting! And here you can fly all year! I MUST return for a winter flight!
